We are delighted to announce yet another new face to the team of consultants able to work on engagements with clients.

Qualifying, in 1985 as a chartered accountant, Gail moved into industry in 1987 as Financial Controller to a group of diverse manufacturing and service companies. She then spent four years in venture capital and corporate finance before moving to a large acute hospital trust. After her time in the NHS, Gail spent the next decade as a Deputy Chief Executive, moving up to be a Chief Executive, and a Commercial Director in a Training and Enterprise Council and in a private property company, respectively.

In January 2009 Gail became the Deputy Chief Executive of Leeds Federated Housing Association. This role included being Director of Finance and it also had responsibility, at different times, for the IT, Assets, Development, HR, Business Planning & Procurement functions of the Association. The Association has 4000 properties across Leeds, Wakefield and North Yorkshire. Whilst at Leeds Fed, Gail started mentoring younger people involved in the housing sector through a mentoring programme run by Housing Diversity Network. Whilst at Leeds Fed Gail was Project Sponsor for the choice and implementation of new housing and finance IT systems.

Gail has overseen many change and business improvement projects within both the private and public sectors, most latterly in social housing. She has a direct approach to getting the best out of strategies and operations, especially looking at TCO and ROI models to achieve the best possible results in change and project delivery.

Gail has also taken up many different non-executive roles during her career, is currently a Governor of a local primary school and is Treasurer elect of a charitable company in Leeds that provides counselling services for young people.

Undertaking Total Cost of Ownership reviews and Return on Investment modelling of systems and change projects.

Reviewing existing strategies of landlords and aligning to larger change initiatives.

Reviewing policies and alignment to new systems, or indeed any other business transformation projects.
